
Network Operations Manager

As a NOC Operations Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
This role is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the operations activities of the NOC.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Oversight: Manage and supervise the global network and support systems, ensuring seamless operation and high performance.
- Process Enhancement: Drive continual process improvement within the NOC, focusing on automation tasks, reporting, and routine administration tasks.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support related to the overall health and maintenance of multiple environments.
- Incident Management: Oversee the resolution of Incidents across supported services, specializing in IP and Transmission technologies.
- Escalation Support: Perform tier-2 and 3 escalation support and serve as the point of contact in the NOC for all inquiries from Senior Leadership and other Managers.
- Crisis Management: Real-time crisis management and communication of network security, health, and status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and restore services, conducting regular analysis of overall system delivery.
- Workflow Distribution: Oversee and manage workflow distribution across the NOC team to maintain efficiency and responsiveness.
- Task Completion: Ensure effective completion of proactive and reactive operational tasks and routines by the shift team through prioritisation, allocation, progression, resourcing, and appropriate escalation.
- Quality Improvement: Interfacing with the team for continuous quality, performance, and improvement on all network operations and infrastructure.
- Network Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of network deployment and infrastructure, with excellent troubleshooting skills and a proven ability to apply automation and continuous improvement practices.
- Customer Relationships: High-level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Staffing Flexibility: Ability to staff as required to ensure seamless operation of the NOC.
