We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for aviation and want to make a real difference.
- The key responsibilities of this position include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft as directed by the Engineering Manager or Supervising LAME.
- Carrying out maintenance of aircraft components as directed.
- Maintaining personal tools and toolboxes in accordance with our maintenance procedures manual.
- Completing maintenance documentation correctly.
- Maintaining our aircraft within the scope of licencing requirements.
- Ensuring safe practices in the workplace, identifying hazards and using our safety reporting system.
- Previous mechanical maintenance experience from Aviation, Marine or Automotive industries.
- A team player approach to work but also able to work autonomously effectively.
- Ability to problem solve and provide workable solutions.
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- Display a professional, service-orientated attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to work with staff and crew from all work groups and levels.
- Completed or currently studying a Cert IV / Diploma in Aeroskills (Mechanical) with a desire to progress with licensing.
