**Child and Family Health Specialist Role**
">This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Child and Family Health Specialist. You will be working in the Healthy Under 5 Kids Partnering Families program, providing specialist clinical outreach care to children under 5 years and their families.
">About the Role:
">- You will provide early intervention strategies and education to Population and Primary Health Care staff with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of children and their families in a culturally appropriate manner.
- The HU5 KPF program incorporates growth and development assessments, vaccinations, parenting support and advice in age-specific child health checks.
Requirements:
">- You must be a proactive and culturally responsive clinician, committed to improving child and family health outcomes.
- You should have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or be eligible for same.
- You should have high-level clinical knowledge and skills in Child and Family Health or related field, supported by strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- You should be able to commit to a learning culture through clinical guidance and mentoring.
