Job Opportunity: Electronic Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team at Banksmeadow NSW 2019.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning electronic equipment, installing and repairing electronic systems, and demonstrating a thorough understanding of electronic equipment's end-to-end procedures from assembling, testing, calibration, and installation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic equipment.
  • Install and repair electronic systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of equipment.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of electronic equipment's end-to-end procedures.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
  • Replace faulty electronic components of machines before and after projects.
  • Manage stocks of supplies and equipment.
  • Test machines and electronic equipment to diagnose faults using a variety of diagnostic tools including visual inspection.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment.
  • Maintain logs.
  • Diagnose and repair defective parts to ensure the correct functioning of machines.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a related area.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to perform analytical tasks with awareness of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Mechanical competence and know-how.
  • The ability to break down complex technical information into a language easily digested by the general public.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
