Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Instructor to support our Army customer with the CH47 Maintenance Training Team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Aeroskills Mechanical Trade professional to deliver contracted Technical Trade Training and work in a unique environment.

  • Deliver technical training in theory and practical environments, following established Learning Management Packages and schedules.
  • Work as a CH47 Course Manager, adhering to course management procedures.
  • Develop and improve training package materials through continuous improvement activities.
  • Review and amend assessment instruments to ensure currency and relevance.
  • Support the Lead Instructor in the CH47 Maintenance Training Facility, maintaining aircraft type currency as a maintainer.
RequirementsEssential:
  • Achieve CH47F Aircraft Mechanical Type Qualification (B1.3 MAML) or equivalent, with 5 years' experience in Rotary Wing B1.3 Aviation Maintenance Tradesperson roles.
  • Hold Certificate IV in Aero skills (Mechanical).
Desirable:
  • Demonstrate experience delivering training in a Defence environment.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multi-trade team environment.
  • Hold Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/22) or equivalent qualification, or be willing to achieve this qualification.
  • Understand DASA 147 and 66 Regulations.
