Job Title: Maintenance Instructor - CH47 Training

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Instructor to join our team in delivering high-quality training for the CH47 Maintenance Training Team at RAMS in Oakey.

Job Description:

This is a full-time role that involves delivering technical trade training in a theory and practical environment, in accordance with Learning Management Packages (LMPs) and schedules. You will work closely with the Course Manager and Lead Instructor to develop and deliver training materials, review and amend assessment instruments, and support the continued advancement of the Customers DASR 147 Training Continuum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of contracted Technical Trade Training in a theory and practical environment
  • Working in the capacity of a CH47 Course Manager in accordance with Course Management procedures
  • Development of training package materials through continuous improvement activities
  • Review and amendment of assessment instruments
  • Support the Lead Instructor in the CH47 Maintenance Training Facility
  • Support to the CISS Program and Capability Managers with CH47 Training Program Execution as directed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Aeroskills Mechanical Trade B1.3 qualification
  • 5 years' experience as a Rotary Wing B1.3 Aviation Maintenance Tradesperson, Aviation Supervisor, or Aviation Maintenance Manager
  • Certificate IV in Aero skills (Mechanical)
