Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead the estimating process for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tendering process from receipt of drawings to submission of tenders.
  • Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgets align with client requirements.
  • Review tender documentation, identify risks, and provide ongoing cost advice.

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating within residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel.
