About the Role
Job OverviewThe Payroll Specialist plays a vital role in providing professional and efficient payroll services. This position is responsible for processing fortnightly payroll for judicial officers and executives, working closely with the Executive and Judicial Entitlements Advisor on complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of the fortnightly payroll for judicial officers and executives
- Collaborating with the Executive and Judicial Entitlements Advisor on employment conditions and benefits
- Updating and maintaining associated personnel and payroll records using TRIM
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and CSV policies
- Providing well-researched advice to Executives and Judicial Officers on conditions and benefits
- Offering quality customer service through effective communication and problem-solving
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing (Chris21 is preferable) and data entry accuracy
- Intermediate computer skills and competence with Microsoft products
- Solid knowledge of government processes
