About the Role

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Service team based in the Dandenong branch as a Field Service Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Scheduling: Booking and scheduling all Field Service works for Victoria, ensuring efficient planning and effective utilisation of equipment and resources.
  • Customer Communication: Maintaining a high level of customer communication, ensuring timely updates and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Service Delivery: Ensuring the safety and efficiency of field service technicians, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Preparing and updating work orders and timesheets in a timely manner, maintaining accurate documentation and warranty claims.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Scheduler/Planner or similar role.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service background with exposure to earthmoving or similar industries preferred.
  • Communication and Time Management: Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills while managing time efficiently within a high-paced work environment.
  • Coordination and Organisation: Experience in coordinating the opening and closing of service information.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to handle several tasks simultaneously with an ambition for achieving success.
