About the Role

Service Stream's Utilities Division is seeking a highly skilled Civil Supervisor with Sewer and Wastewater experience to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a relevant field delivery team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of O&M and minor projects of water field services.
  • Manage and monitor designated site activities to ensure project compliance and safety standards are always adhered to.
  • Perform daily checks on civil maintenance staff to ensure they have completed relevant training and hold the correct licenses.
  • Review and improve KPIs and data validation of works.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist in the development and review of Safe Work Methods (SWMS).
  • Administer field technicians, including approving timesheet data, processing leave requests, and reviewing JAMS validation errors.
  • Maintain spending within limits of authority and ensure costs are within budget requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative relationship with clients.

About You

  • Hold a current Driver's License.
  • Have a Certificate III/IV in Civil Construction or equivalent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in the Water (or other underground utility) industry operations.
  • Have experience dealing with stressful time-limited environments.
  • Have strong commercial experience.
  • Be able to interpret and understand civil/mechanical drawings and scopes of work.
  • Have strong MS Office skills.
  • Have high-level interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence team members and working relationships.
  • Have an understanding of SWMS, risk assessment, and analysis.
  • Have a strong client focus.
