Industrial Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced industrial engineer to join our operations team in Ipswich, Queensland.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality beef products.

About the Role
  • We require someone with a strong background in industrial engineering and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • You will be responsible for analysing current operating plans to identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Additionally, you will work closely with our business analysts to develop solutions to operational issues and implement new processes to achieve desired cost reductions and quality improvements.
  • Your other key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining cost-effective methods of manufacturing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and reducing waste and rework.
About You
  • We require a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as advanced MS Office skills.
  • Experience with process improvement programs such as PDCA, Six Sigma, Lean and RCA is highly desirable.
