Drilling Operations Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Team Lead to oversee drilling operations and personnel, ensuring mine safety and production targets are achieved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Direct drilling activities in accordance with the plan, as directed by the Drill & Blast Manager
- Manage all safety aspects of drilling operations and maintain a safe working environment using established business processes
- Coordinate shift resources and manning levels to ensure sufficient quantity and quality of drilled stock is safely produced
- Ensure drill & blast patterns are maintained at a high standard and associated equipment is properly maintained
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee quality outputs are consistently achieved
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to direct reports
- Drive drilling techniques and procedures that promote zero harm, improve performance, and enhance cost efficiencies
- Valid C Class Manual Driver's Licence and relevant certifications
- Previous supervisory experience and ability to read and understand mine plans
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, along with a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships at all levels
