Drilling Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Operations Supervisor to lead our underground raisebore drilling operations in WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing raisebore drilling activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and company standards.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Leading and mentoring drillers and offsiders, providing training and feedback to ensure efficient operations
  • Conducting performance evaluations, implementing corrective actions, and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Supervising daily operations, including leading briefings, communicating project goals, and safety expectations
  • Coordinating with engineers and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and problem-solving
  • Maintaining detailed records of progress and ensuring minimal environmental impact

About the Role

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • High-risk work licenses (Dogging, Rigging, Elevating Work Platform) and self-funded requirements
  • Work Safely at Heights qualification and extensive experience in raisebore drilling operations
  • Basic mechanical skills, proficiency in electrical systems related to raiseboring, and valid manual driver's license
  • Valid First-Aid and CPR certification, National Police Clearance, and supervisory experience in underground mining environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, physically fit, and willing to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
