Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local government agencies, external providers and stakeholders to advance HR initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity and ethics in all aspects of HR practice.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics, including workforce planning, recruitment and retention.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field are essential.
  • Proven experience leading HR functions, preferably in local government or complex environments.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills are required.
  • A passion for people and culture, with a focus on driving organisational growth and innovation is necessary.
