Workplace Recovery Support Specialist

Job Description

In this challenging role, you will be the central point of contact for injured workers to assist them in the processing of their Workers Compensation claim. You will work closely with clients and other treating health providers to review requests for compensation for medical treatment and expenses. Your responsibilities will include managing and processing claims, reviewing and approving requests for compensation, ensuring accurate documentation is received, and providing excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer service-based role, especially in fields related to medical administration or employment services.
  • Tertiary study within disciplines like psychology, social work, or similar (beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong telephone-based communication skills, administrative abilities, and the capacity to learn and use systems and databases.
  • Resilience, time management, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a team-player attitude.
