Job Summary:

This role focuses on providing early intervention services to support a worker's recovery during the claims process. As an EI Specialist, you will educate employers about activities that facilitate and support a worker's return to work.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of workers' compensation claims processes and legislation, along with solid communication skills to advise employers and workers on their obligations under the Act.

About the Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for advising employers and workers on their obligations under the Act, supporting them in identifying suitable duties and planning for Return to Work (RTW), and communicating with medical practitioners and stakeholders as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising employers and workers on their obligations under the Act
  • Supporting employers in understanding how to identify suitable duties and plan for RTW
  • Communicating with medical practitioners and other stakeholders as required
  • Ongoing communication with the employer, worker, and rehabilitation provider during the claim assessment period
