Software Engineer Role Overview

This software engineer role involves the design, development and testing of software used to control flight systems for the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, preferably with experience in C++, Python or Rust. The successful individual will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the software they create, from development to testing and operation during a mission.

A strong understanding of autonomous software systems and simulations is highly desirable. Additionally, the ability to develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints is essential.
