About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Development Advisor to join our team at Frontline Recruitment. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing the Primary School Curriculum at a leading Independent, non-denominational College.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of primary curriculum frameworks, standards, and assessment practices. They will be able to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proven leadership skills and experience managing complex projects from conception to implementation with limited supervision are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in teaching/education and substantial experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational leadership in a primary school setting in Victoria. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, are also required.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team of professionals, develop engaging and challenging lesson plans, and provide professional development and ongoing support to teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive primary school curriculum in alignment with the Australian Curriculum standards.
  • Work with teachers to design engaging and challenging lesson plans and teaching materials.
  • Provide professional development and ongoing support to teachers in the curriculum's implementation.
  • Monitor and assess the curriculum's effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in Australian primary education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to ensure curriculum initiatives align with the school's educational goals.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to communicate curriculum changes and gather feedback.
