Job Title: Data Quality Strategist - Medical Technology

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description

Overview

  • The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining high data standards and supporting the delivery of our Data and Analytics strategy.
  • This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams at all organisational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and manage data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across Customer, Supplier and Employee Domains and Transactional Business Data.
  2. Create and maintain tools to demonstrate that data quality meets requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to monitor data quality, governance, and compliance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  4. Oversee data quality initiatives, including data profiling for criticality, cleansing, and enrichment, to maintain high-quality data across all systems and databases.
  5. Embed data certification and a robust issue resolution process, prioritising business criticality.
  6. Ensure a robust approval process for new Customer and Employee records, acting as a step in the approval process.
  7. Manage master data inconsistencies within the two JDE instances across three regions.
  8. Provide advanced thought processes on the flow of information and how it ties back to divisional software applications.
  9. Collaborate with divisional functional teams, both locally and globally, to ensure project success and meet short and long-term goals and needs.
  10. Support stakeholder SLA's and provide KPI's, ensuring dashboards are up-to-date and reflective of completed work.
