Job Title:

Senior Project Engineer Mechanical

Role Summary:

This is a dynamic and innovative role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasks
  • Attend sales and project review meetings
  • Develop system designs and layouts
  • Manage design schedule, budget and work orders
  • Liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants and purchasing team
  • Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical documentation
  • Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans
  • Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees
  • Assist with system commissioning and testing

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing resources at a project team level, controlling relevant budgets, adhering to the overall project schedule, working with other teams in a cross-functional design aspect and reporting progress to the Mechanical Design Manager.
