Datacenter Solutions Sales Manager

About the Role
Lenovo is seeking a seasoned professional to drive Datacenter Infrastructure (ISG) solutions revenue and profits through Business Partners in the commercial space. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of channel sales or direct sales experience in the IT market, with a strong understanding of current data center technology trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through Business Partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with key ISG pre-sales and sales staff in our Business Partners.
- Cultivate large ISG deals with Business Partners and drive them to closure with support from cross-functional teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with executives and influencers in all assigned partners.
- Establish trust and confidence with channel partners and customers through a consultative selling approach.
- End-to-end ownership of channel ISG opportunities, including opportunity identification, creation, progression, and closure.
- Plan and execute partner marketing activities relevant to ISG, including promotions and incentives.
- Ensure Business Partners' compliance to Lenovo standards of business conduct and integrity.
- Develop a sales and technical community amongst top-tier partners and improve Lenovo solutions knowledge amongst key contacts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of successful track record of channel sales or direct sales experience in the IT market.
- Good communication skills and conversant with current data center technology trends.
- Awareness of the partner ecosystem in the country.
- Experience in Backup solutions, End-point Security, Enterprise Datacenter products, HCI, ARS, HPC, Cloud (public & hybrid).
- Ability to multi-task, research, and analyze different situations.
- Strong presentation, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- High level of customer focus.
