Community Development Worker

As a Community Development Worker, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring a program of community development and service enhancement activities. These activities will support unpaid carers in their caring role, and are designed in collaboration with carers and other regional stakeholders.

This position is based at the Bendigo office and requires regional travel for consultation, initiative establishment, network meetings and team meetings.

  • Develop and monitor a program of community development and service enhancement activities for carers throughout the Loddon Mallee Region.
  • Support unpaid carers in their caring role, and design activities in collaboration with carers and other regional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with vulnerable populations.
