A driven and passionate individual is sought to join our team in Western Australia & South Australia regions.

About this Role

The Surgical Specialist (SS) is a member of a highly focussed and specialised sales channel dedicated to driving the adoption of surgical techniques and technologies.

The SS Team is across Australia and New Zealand, reporting to the Surgical Solutions Manager (SSM) and are geographically aligned with the Regional/Country Sales Teams for shared sales opportunities and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promoting Innovative Technologies: Actively generate interest and facilitate the development of selected surgical techniques and technologies through various channels.
  • Surgeon Selection and Training: Identify and vet surgeons or candidates for training, ensuring successful product adoption within the surgical community.
  • Training and Workshops: Organise and facilitate training courses and workshops in collaboration with local faculty and proctors to enhance proficiency and knowledge of our products.
  • Building Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with local faculty and proctors to strengthen our network and support clinical adoption.
  • Technology Accessibility: Ensure that our technologies are readily available and accessible to surgeons within relevant hospitals in our targeted region, aligning with our strategic growth initiatives.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend relevant society and third-party workshops and conferences to enhance our visibility and strategically position our offerings within the market.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the wider field team on special projects aimed at driving market adoption and growth across assigned specialties and areas of focus.
  • Exploring Channels: Leverage various channels within the healthcare sector to raise consumer awareness and promote our innovative surgical solutions.
  • Developing Strategic Plans: Create and implement strategic plans to effectively manage the region, ensuring maintenance and growth objectives are supported and achieved.

By focusing on these responsibilities, the SS team is dedicated to expanding our market presence and facilitating clinical adoption of cutting-edge surgical solutions, while also collaborating closely within the respective sales region, uncovering new opportunities to raise consumer awareness and developing strategic initiatives to support ongoing success.
