This senior mechanical engineer position involves applying advanced engineering expertise across various domains to deliver high-quality technical solutions throughout different product lifecycle phases.
The role requires leading and contributing to technical investigations, planning and managing engineering tasks, and producing detailed documentation that supports current and future engineering efforts.
The successful candidate will participate in formal reviews, provide expert guidance to stakeholders, and ensure technical processes align with regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you should be an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong foundation in design, analysis, manufacturing, and support techniques.
You should thrive in solving complex engineering challenges and be confident making decisions that impact products throughout their lifecycle.
A track record of delivering high-quality technical outcomes on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles
- Proven experience in managing applicable engineering function and/or technical delivery
- A good understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software)
- Hold an accredited (under the Washington Accord) bachelor's degree in engineering or hold the recognised engineering qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
