We're seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to lead a team in occupational rehabilitation.

About the Role:

This challenging opportunity involves overseeing a team of Rehabilitation Consultants, exploring new opportunities and growth areas, mentoring junior staff members, and providing advice on case management practices while managing a reduced caseload of your own.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach a team of professionals in occupational rehabilitation
  • Oversee team performance and quality, identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and efficiency
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and expertise
  • Provide expert advice on case management practices and support the development of individualized return-to-work plans
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Current vehicle and driver's licence and ability to travel for work-related purposes
  • Minimum two years of experience in workers' compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with insurers, medical practitioners, employers, and employees
  • Evidence of accurate information gathering and analysis to provide thorough assessments
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-level customer service and contribute to business growth through increased referrals
