Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert advice on payroll administration and ensure seamless processing of employee payments.
  • Maintain master data within the enterprise resource planning system and records management system to guarantee data accuracy, compliance, and availability.
  • Interpret employment conditions, entitlements, legislation, awards, policies, and procedures to complete manual calculations and adjustments.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge that assists the support community by maintaining and reviewing service information.
  • Support the payroll team by capturing, updating, and closing tickets to meet service levels and identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and report new risks or increases in risk in a timely manner.
  • Offer assistance and guidance to other members of the payroll team as required and check the processing of other officers to ensure accuracy of information entered into the system.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
