Seeking a highly skilled Payroll Professional to oversee the processing of complex payrolls across multiple cycles, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities include managing end-to-end payroll processing, leading testing and analytical review activities, providing expert support across payroll systems and workflows, ensuring legislative and audit compliance, delivering specialist payroll advice and training, and producing accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs in complex environments.
- Lead payroll testing and data analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance, and system integrity.
- Provide expert support on payroll-related matters, including interpretation of awards and agreements.
- Ensure legislative and audit compliance, staying informed of regulatory changes and meeting audit requirements.
- Deliver specialist payroll advice and training, supporting team development and coaching staff.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting, including termination calculations and statutory reports.
Extensive payroll expertise, including handling complex payrolls and strong knowledge of payroll procedures and finance processes.
Skilled in payroll testing and data analysis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and system integrity.
Deep understanding of payroll legislation and entitlements, including PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and Long Service Leave.
Experienced in interpreting awards and agreements, providing accurate application across various business units.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment in day-to-day operations.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and major payroll software.
Committed to continuous improvement, with a strong analytical mindset and a focus on quality, efficiency, and producing high-quality documentation and reports.
