Project Manager - Construction Equipment

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Construction Equipment to join their team in the Hunter Valley and Western NSW areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Construction Equipment Services: Coordinate and manage construction equipment services, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Parts and Service Sales: Promote parts and service sales to meet budgeted targets, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with specifications, adhering to site safety processes and protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal departments and peers to deliver Total Customer Satisfaction, fostering open communication and feedback.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of fostering customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Background: Possess a mechanical or electrical background in construction or mining equipment, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Administration and Computer Skills: Be proficient in administration and computer skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Safety Focus: Possess a strong focus on safety and understanding of site safety processes, with a willingness to travel within the designated areas.
