Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team.

  • This is a Sydney-based position with a hybrid work arrangement (WFH & Office).
  • This is a permanent, full-time employment opportunity.
The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to deliver high-quality performance analysis and insights to support decision-making across the Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating business performance, identifying trends, and translating complex data into actionable insights.

  • The individual will lead the delivery of Group management results, ensuring alignment with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • The candidate will partner with divisional Finance and business teams to understand underlying performance trends.
  • They will analyse performance trends, identify key risks and opportunities.
  • The individual will translate findings into strategic insights for informed decision-making.
  • The successful candidate will build strong relationships with Group Senior stakeholders to shape reporting that evolves with business needs.
  • They will champion continuous improvement in analytics, reporting processes, and data quality.
  • The candidate will provide coaching and mentoring to analysts, supporting their professional growth and career development.
About You
  • You should have experience in Financial Services or Corporate Finance, ideally within the insurance sector.
  • Analytical thinking and a structured approach to solving complex problems are essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams are required.
  • You should be adaptable and hands-on, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Techincal proficiency in finance, accounting, or actuarial analysis is necessary.
  • Detail-oriented individuals with a passion for turning data into meaningful insights are encouraged to apply.
