Project Manager - Building Structures

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our Building Structures team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and strategic direction of the group, providing support to project leads and ensuring the overall group is focused on financial performance, quality assurance, risk management, and staff morale.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. They will be responsible for managing current and future workloads, supporting project leads, engineers, and graduate engineers, and ensuring the group maintains an appropriate level of service to key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage current and future workloads within the Building Structures Group
  • Support and guide Project Leads, Engineers, and Graduate Engineers
  • Maintain an appropriate level of service to key Clients
  • Design, documentation, and construction phase activities
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and engage with discipline colleagues
  • Adhere to professional standards, ethics, and quality procedures
  • Maintain direct project involvement through project management
  • Contribute to marketing and business development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer and ability to obtain RPEQ
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment within the building services industry
  • Experience in the management of project delivery teams
  • Experience in the delivery of projects through project management principles
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
