Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ENT surgeon to join our team. As an Ears, Nose and Throat Registrar, you will provide clinical and academic services to the ENT discipline at Macquarie University Hospital.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in research projects, supervise and train junior staff and medical students, and contribute to educational and research activities.

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and develop expertise in the diagnosis and management of ear, nose and throat conditions.
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and training initiatives for junior staff and medical students.
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of ENT surgery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and academic services to the ENT discipline at Macquarie University Hospital.
  • Supervise and train junior staff and medical students.
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of ENT surgery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification and registration as a medical practitioner in Australia.
  • Successful completion of second postgraduate training year in an Australian Healthcare setting.
  • Enrolled in or eligible for membership into a relevant specialist training College or Faculty.
  • Active Accredited Practitioner of MUH.
