Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of a Water Treatment Plant Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain water treatment plants, pumps, and equipment efficiently.

Record and report on flow meters, electric meters, and daily testing results accurately.

Collect water and wastewater samples, calibrate dosing pumps, and adjust dosing rates as required.

Monitor chemical usage and carry out stocktakes to ensure efficient operations.

Coordinate with contractors and support infrastructure maintenance activities.

Participate in weekend work as rostered, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

About You:

Certificate III in Water Treatment Plant Operations is mandatory for this role.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in water treatment plant operations is required.

A current 'C' Class driver's licence is necessary for this position.

Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain) is also essential.

Confined Spaces, Chlorine Safety, and Forklift certifications (or willingness to obtain) are highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital for effective collaboration and delivery.
