**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Services Coordinator to join our team at the East Melbourne Library. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that will provide you with the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to library users, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and efficiency. You will also contribute to the smooth operation of our library by providing administrative support and participating in the development of targeted programs for children and young people.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum qualification of Associate Diploma of Applied Social Science (Library Technician) or equivalent. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as high-level literacy, numeracy, technology, and information retrieval skills.

Additional requirements include exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a flexible and positive approach. You will also need to be able to independently manage multiple and competing priorities within a high-volume environment.
