We are seeking a passionate and proactive professional to join our team in Wollongong. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with mental health challenges to find employment that aligns with their strengths, goals, and personal circumstances.
About the Role
As an Employment Specialist, you will provide individualised support and client-centred assistance and guidance to job seekers addressing their barriers to employment. You will also reverse market our jobseekers to employers, maintain relationships through job carving, networking, and understanding the local labour market.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive support and assistance to job seekers to overcome employment barriers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers through effective marketing and networking strategies.
- Identifying and securing suitable employment opportunities for job seekers aligned to their individual goals.
- Offering ongoing support to both employers and clients post-employment.
Mandatory Requirements
- The right to work in Australia.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- A current and unrestricted Driver's License.
