Construction Project Manager Role

Wormall Civil has been in operation for decades and has built a reputation as a leading Western Australian civil construction company that strives to provide excellence in engineering, construction, and project management services.

We are currently working on multiple projects across the metropolitan area from Two Rocks to Mandurah and from Australind to Margaret River in the southwest region. Our projects have multiple active stages with values ranging from $500K to $10 million.

About the Construction Project Manager Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects located in the WA Southwest region (Australind to Margaret River).

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing construction crews of labourers, drainers, road builders, utility contractors, machine operators including selection and coordination of sub-contractors.
  • Organising materials & machinery and ensuring workforce, machinery & materials are in the right place, at the right time, meeting projects' requirements
  • Allocate team member tasks and monitor work to ensure quality standards are always maintained
  • Proactively manage site operations to ensure compliance to all practices, policies, procedures and in accordance with statutory and local Shire regulations
  • Lead pre-start meetings and oversee machinery pre-start checks
