Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an SMP Site Supervisor located in the South West, WA.

No two days are the same, but here's a taste of what you'll be responsible for:

  • Supervision of company and subcontractor construction/maintenance activities on the client's site
  • Taking ownership of quality and safety – including risk management and upholding safety procedures and compliance
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, supporting skill development and fostering a positive workplace environment
  • Directly liaising with Contract Coordinators, Engineers, Contractors to keep projects and works ticking along
  • Attending client meetings as a key company representative
  • Managing company assets, documentation, and reporting
  • Taking charge of toolbox talks, JSAs, risk assessments, and safety inspections

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in Supervision of maintenance/construction/SMP projects within the mining or construction industry in Australia
  • A "C" class driver's license
  • Trade background or engineering knowledge
  • Hold, or have ability to obtain, Schedule 26 certification
  • Solid leadership and communication skills
  • Computer skills, competency with maintenance systems
  • Ability to juggle people, priorities, and paperwork with ease
