Scientific Officer Position Available

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking an experienced Scientific Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing, maintaining equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing
  • Assist with stock control and maintenance of equipment
  • Participate in quality assurance activities
  • Contribute to the development of new assays
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding test results or referrals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge within the field
  • Sound knowledge of quality control and troubleshooting
  • Ability to identify and implement quality improvement activities
  • High level of independence and self-motivation
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills
