About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Maintenance team at Boyne Smelter Limited. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and replace electrical equipment, including motors, pumps, and control systems
  • Perform planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement improvement initiatives
  • Promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and behaviors
Requirements
  • Australian 'A' grade Electrical licence
  • Valid C Class drivers licence
  • Proven history of fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment
  • Proven maintenance experience working in heavy/industrial industry
