Compassionate Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support specialist to join our team. As a trusted partner in the lives of our clients, you will provide high-quality care and assistance in their own homes.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others. You will be responsible for assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties, as well as providing support with daily errands, companionship, and academic, social, or recreational activities.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, a willingness to learn and take on new challenges, and current certifications such as a National Police Check, First Aid & CPR, and an unrestricted driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
  • Provide support with daily errands, companionship, and academic, social, or recreational activities
  • Prepare food, feed clients, and administer medications
  • Observe, care, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Respond to emergency situations
Essential Criteria:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • Blue and yellow card or willing to obtain
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain
  • Comprehensive car insurance
  • COVID 19 Vaccination
