Job Description:
The Cape Le Grand National Park is renowned for its breathtaking coastal scenery and diverse wildlife. As a Senior Ranger, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day works programs and operations within the park, as well as assisting with the management of other lands and waters in the Esperance District. Under the direction of the District Parks and Visitor Services Coordinator, you will lead teams to deliver agreed outcomes and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day works programs and operations within the park
- Assist with the management of other lands and waters in the Esperance District
- Lead teams to deliver agreed outcomes and priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in leading and supervising teams, empowering individuals to work confidently both in teams and independently. You will also need to possess excellent oral and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain networks with various stakeholders, including indigenous groups, commercial tourism operators, and community groups.
