The Position:

This is an on-site role offering a meaningful opportunity to contribute to career development and placement services in Warragul and surrounding suburbs.

As a Career Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in guiding clients towards job-readiness and facilitating sustainable employment opportunities. Your typical day may include:

  • Encouraging and motivating participants through personalized activities to achieve employment goals;
  • Building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients;
  • Reverse marketing clients to employers;
  • Placing participants into long-term employment, leading to positive outcomes;
  • Ensuring all activity is accurately recorded and adheres to compliance requirements;
  • Providing exceptional service to clients, employers, and stakeholders throughout the process.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team of employment services professionals from diverse backgrounds, all dedicated to driving impact in the diversity and inclusion space.

Qualifications, Attributes, and Experience:

  • A minimum one year's experience in customer-facing roles or similar environments;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals overcoming challenges;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Confidence in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and securing sustainable employment placements;
  • A genuine desire to be part of a broader organization focused on connecting people and businesses for mutual growth;
  • Holding a valid driver's license.
