Job Title: Business Development Professional

About the Role:

This position involves leading and managing commercial customer relationships and agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant market regulations.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled individual to originate and execute commercially robust Energy Supply Agreements (or equivalents).
  • You will be responsible for crafting robust energy supply agreements that deliver value for our customers and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have proven expertise in contract management and negotiation, as well as a deep understanding of commercial pricing, financial, and technical concepts.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in business development, bid preparation, and pre-contract activities across multiple workstreams, and be skilled in drafting and reviewing contracts, scopes of work, and variations to deliver commercially sound outcomes.

A confident communicator with customer-facing experience and a knack for building strong relationships, you will also possess a solid understanding of the contestable energy market and regulatory frameworks.

Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in Commerce, Business, Finance, or Law - or equivalent experience in the energy sector - are highly desirable, as is a background in mining, resources, or energy industries.
