The role of Energy Market Specialist offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for executing real-time trades to optimize the company's position.

Key to success in this role is a deep understanding of the key short-term drivers, such as generation, demand, transmission, and regulation.

Responsibilities:
  • Trade the portfolio to create value and manage market exposure.
  • Convert analytical findings into meaningful insights for various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate bespoke market analysis to optimize trading strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve models for high-quality analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Quantitative disciplines preferred).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, utilizing strong initiative and time management skills.
  • Capable of reading market conditions and making quick decisions based on limited information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (VBA and other coding languages advantageous).
  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to analyze and study large data sets.
