Role Overview
We are seeking a Building Project Manager to lead a series of refurbishment initiatives, ranging from $2 million to $15 million within our Aviation Sector.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and based in our Melbourne Airport office, your daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Finalizing design specifications
- Collaborating with contractors and consultants
- Overseeing the construction and delivery phases of projects
- Building relationships with key stakeholders
- Managing contract administration, variations, and claims.
Candidate Qualifications
To excel in this position, you should possess proven experience in delivering capital works building projects. This experience may come from sectors such as Airports, Commercial, Industrial, Civic & Culture, Education, Health, or other complex environments.
Additionally, you will need:
- Experience in executing service upgrades and refurbishments
- Experience in managing building structure upgrades and refurbishments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with busy stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and a customer-centric approach.
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to achieving outstanding results for clients.
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
