Role DescriptionWe're seeking a Building Project Manager to oversee refurbishment projects in our Aviation Sector, with a budget range of $2m - $15m.
As a key member of our team, you'll report to the Senior Project Manager and be based in our Melbourne Airport office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Closing out final design requirements
- Engaging with contractors and consultants
- Managing the construction/delivery phase of the projects
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders
- Overseeing contract management, variations, and claims
To succeed in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience delivering capital works building projects, preferably in complex sectors like Airports, Commercial, Industrial, Civic & Culture, Education, Health, or other similar areas.
You'll also require:
- Experience delivering service upgrades and refurbishments
- Experience delivering building structure upgrades and refurbishments
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related disciplines
