Award-winning home care provider, Australian Unity, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Broken Hill NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional in-home support services to our aged care customers.

  • We are offering a $32.56/hour + 11.5% super hourly rate for this permanent part-time position, with the opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality in-home support services and making a genuine difference in people's lives. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care, including hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and helping at mealtime
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Transporting clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Engaging in social interaction, client observations, and ongoing training and support

Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or hold a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with a minimum of 2 doses
  • Flexibility to work rosters between 7:30am and 6pm from Monday to Friday
