Role Overview

This role presents an opportunity for an experienced quality professional to influence positive change, embed best practice standards, and strengthen the culture of clinical governance.

The ICU/PICU Quality Manager will take a lead role in driving excellence in patient care by managing the Quality and Safety Portfolio within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Lead quality and safety initiatives by reviewing clinical incidents and transforming data into meaningful actions that enhance patient outcomes.

Collaborate across disciplines by working closely with clinicians, nurse managers, medical directors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive excellence in patient care through effective management of the Quality and Safety Portfolio.
  • Ensure intensive care services meet the highest standards of safety, clinical governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Review clinical incidents and transform data into meaningful actions that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate meetings to ensure key issues are identified, addressed, and actioned.
