We are seeking experienced ICU or HDU trained nurses to provide exceptional patient care at our hospital.
About the Role:- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and health policies.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum.
- Current Registration with AHPRA & Working rights in Australia.
- 5+ years experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting.
- A degree of exposure and experience in a HDU or ICU setting.
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Works well independently and within a team.
- 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, or HDU setting.
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards) is desirable.
