Job Overview

The role of Clinical Team Leader presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to lead our clinical services. Key responsibilities include providing individualised support to enhance residents' quality of life, leading continuous improvement across clinical and lifestyle services, and overseeing a care staff team.

As Clinical Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering outstanding care to residents, working closely with the General Manager to meet care governance and quality standards, and contributing to the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all clinical services in line with established policies and procedures
  • Provide high-quality care services and professional practice
  • Oversee and encourage continuous improvement activities across clinical and lifestyle services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
  • Coordinate and support scheduled audits and clinical indicators
  • Ensure resident health records are current and relevant
  • Implement best practice medication management guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the General Manager to ensure care governance and quality compliance
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian-recognised equivalency
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
  • Senior clinical care experience in the health sector, with experience in aged care
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent understanding of care assessment in the Aged Care Sector
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in a wide range of IT applications
