Job Title

We are seeking a diligent and skilled individual to join our team in the role of Quality Assurance Specialist.

  • Coordinate and manage product compliance, safety, and testing with suppliers, Technical Service Providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Consult with buying teams to bring quality electrical products to the market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and designing product compliance testing;
  • Developing and communicating technical information to key stakeholders;
  • Collaborating with the broader Buying department and Technical Service Providers;
  • SUPPORTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY AND SAFETY PROCESSES;
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining product performance requirements;
  • Evaluating product compliance with mandatory standards, requirements, and policies;
  • Managing the performance of external testing laboratories and Technical Service Providers;
  • Conducting product testing to provide stakeholders with detailed performance reports;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide recommendations based on analysis and testing results;
  • Investigating customer returns and complaints.

Requirements include:

  • Test laboratory work experience is highly desirable;
  • Experience within the QA, Electrical, or Manufacturing industry;
  • Tertiary education within the electrical, electronics, or engineering field is preferred;
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and product label compliance;
  • Experience in the development of product specifications, technical investigation, and report writing;
  • Experience in performing quality assessments;
  • Previous experience communicating technical information to stakeholders.
